About Us

S.A.G.E. - Shenendehowa Advocates for Gifted Education

We are a non-profit chapter of AGATE, the NY state organization of concerned parents and educators designed to promote the education and welfare of the gifted and talented. SAGE also works with the Shenendehowa School District to advocate for improved enrichment opportunities for all students.
  • We are advocates for improved educational opportunities for all students.
  • We seek to make available national, state, and local resources to contribute to the education of the gifted and talented
  • We serve to inform and educate our community about gifted education through research, establishing local meetings, workshops and other gatherings for the benefit and advocacy of high-ability learners.
  • We sponsor and foster activities that stimulate and encourage the development of improved programs and practices for all students
Saturday Scholars – an enrichment program held on Saturdays every March offers a variety of advanced topics for students in grades 1-8 who reside in the Capital District.
